Mobility Canopy Information

Why do you need a mobility canopy for your electric scooter? Well, how many times has the weather stopped you going out and about? You've still got things to do, but it's raining. You want to go to the shops, but it's pouring down. Visit friends and relatives in this weather? Well now you can! No longer do you have to rely on friends, or wait until the weather's better. A mobility canopy will help you get out and about when the weather's bad.

Our canopies are made from 100% waterproof nylon, and include models that will fit both mobility scooters and powerchairs. The scooter canopies are designed to fit the larger road-legal scooters rather than the smaller boot-scooters that are designed to fit in the car. if you are the owner of a boot-scooter and want to be able to go out whatever the weather, have a look at our range of capes and see if there is something that meets your requirements.

The canopies take approximately 30 minutes to fit, and can be easily removed as necessary. They have a door on each side to aid access, and the sides will roll up for ventilation. However, due to the design and manufacture of the canopies, it is not possible to fit a heater or windscreen wipers to help with visibility, so you may find that you need to carry a duster or demisting cloth with you. This is not as apparent in a car, as you would just turn on the windscreen demister.
